• A pack of balloons.
• Felt tip pens for decorating the balloon - take care if playing with the balloons after decorating - felt tip pens can smudge and mark your furniture, floors, and walls.

Description

When energy levels are high but grannies house is a football free zone the good old balloon comes into its own. Simply blow up some balloons and see what happens.

As variations you could also:

• Encourage your grandchild to throw the balloon to you and then catch it when you throw it back.
• Time how long your grandchild can keep the balloon in the air.
• Use felt pens to make the balloon into a face or a creature.
• Use an empty kitchen roll to blow a balloon along the floor- your grandchild will love to set up a race.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT BALLOONS ARE A CHOKING HAZZARD TO YOUNG CHILDREN WHO NEED TO BE SUPERVISED.
