Queen Elizabeth II opens YouTube channel (The most famous YouTube creator?)
The Queen of England, one of the world's most famous grandmothers has recently opened up her very own Royal Channel with YouTube. The You Tube Royal channel will show the Queen's speech, which is traditionally broadcast to the commonwealth on Christmas Day. The famous grandmother will be broadcasting with references to her family and grandchildren. "The Royal Channel - The Official Channel of the British Monarchy" is the opening page on the YouTube website. The page features a photograph of Buckingham Palace, London, England and the Queen's Guards. The Queen has always been progressive and appears to have taken a great pride in her annual television broadcasts. The Christmas speech has covered many subjects over the years from the painful period of Princess Diana's untimely death, to the joy of being a grandmother.
The site can be found at http://www.youtube.com/theroyalchannel . On viewing the YouTube site you will see how much the Queen has adapted and changed over the years. The step into YouTube is more evidence of how the Queen tries to move with the times and adapt to the changing world.
Grandmothers may see the Queen's YouTube website from a slightly different viewpoint. This is yet another way for the Queen to leave an everlasting memory of her thoughts and values with her grandchildren for many years to come. I am sure that the Queen's grandchildren will be delighted that their grandmother, the Queen has taken the bold step of creating a site on YouTube. In fact I wonder where the idea originally came from?
In summary we must ask ourselves if the grandmother Queen Elizabeth II is now the most famous YouTube creator ever?
