This is a delightful book with a special message.

A little girl wishes for a cute little kitten but ends up with a larger and scruffier cat named Tom. Despite being quite upset by Tom’s obvious imperfections Holly quickly learns to love her new friend.

The Wish Cat is a lovely story to read to young children who can enjoy the beautiful illustrations. An older grandchild may understand the deeper meaning that something that looks a little less than perfect can in fact be just that.

A wonderful book to share with the whole family.
